Game Notes (Instead of Player Notes)

Games Notes - A per game Captains Diary

Does anyone think something like this would be an improvement over Player Notes? Or a meaningful standalone addition?

Right now I'm playing in 7 different games and my biggest challenge is keeping track of all my alliances and deals.

first of all, you're a crazykilla for even attempting 7 games! i've only ever played 2 at a time and didn't really enjoy the experience. i don't recommend 7.

but given that you ARE in 7 games, get a pen and paper and take some notes :)

Yeah, 7 May be a bit much. I think 5 is good number of games to be played at once, as long as they are not all started at the same time.

My phone was about to die last night, so I didn't get to elaborate to much. But I think Game Notes would be extremely beneficial to the game. Even if they were as simple as adding a "private" thread under the 'communications' tab.

That way, you can make important notes about a game as the occur. As a preview, I've just gone through a game that is currently in Day 3 @19:00. If I had Game Notes, they would look something like this:

Day 1: Ally with Teal
Day 1: Accidentally declare Total War with Purple in Public Chat
Day 1: Take over one of Purples Factories
-
Day 2: Aggressively Attack Red
Day 2: Split bases with Red and become Allies against Purple
Day 2: Brown makes a Mine
Day 2: Take over another of Purples Factories
Day 2: Purple Resigns
-
Day 3: Start pushing in on Brown
Day 3: Brown pushes in on me from the other side
Day 3: Red betrays me and Teal
Day 3: Red and brown are most likely Allies

That's just one example. As I play more, I'll come up with more ways how this could be extremely beneficial.

Also, I'll start a new game later today and keep track of everything as if I were using 'Game Notes', then paste my notes here when the game has ended.

My earlier install version wasn't saving my notes, so I gave up on it.

I'll try again today.

Small side question. I can't see where to keep notes on my Android version.

Is it included already? Am I looking in the wrong places?

Thanks.

It's in the player profile. Tap the (i) button on the top right of an info panel when you're in a game and you'll get there.

Also, I just confirmed that notes aren't saved on Android yet. Added it to the list to fix.
