In a game I'm currently in, I have 2 subs going towards an opponent's outpost where he has his queen and a pirate. My first sub has more than enough driller to take out his sub and my second sub has a martyr. Here's the question. Can he launch his pirate and target the second sub directly in line with the first and have it "skip over" the first sub???

that is a VERY interesting question!

seems like he shouldn't be able to without encountering the first sub, but the definition for when sub to sub combat takes place is two subs crossing paths and traveling between the same two outposts, and the pirate sub would be traveling between an outpost and a sub, not between the same two outposts, so seems like it shouldn't collide with the first sub.

but to be honest, i don't know what will happen. never thought about this scenario. will check it out.
