Does having my Revered Elder on board a sub with say a general or lieutenant remove their benefits or does she just remove the enemies specialists abilities?

Thanks in advance!

She blocks all specialist present at that combat, on both sides. So your general would not destroy 10 drillers if he was in that battle. However, he would destroy 10 drillers if he was somewhere else (and you had a specialist in that combat).

Also note, that she doesn't block the Martyr. The Martyr has a priority of 1, while the Revered Elder has priority 2.

Thank you!!

Does the generals ability apply to her though if he was in range but not on the same sub?

In range? In range of what?

The general's ability has no range. It applies to any combat in which you have a specialist present.

The Revered Elder's ability only applies to specialist that are in the current combat.

Does that answer your question?

I believe the general's ability will still trigger since it is passive. The abilities that won't trigger are the specialist specific abilities, meaning assassin, thief, saboteur etc.

I think the General ability would still apply since it happens after the specialist phase regardless of the Generals position. Same goes for the King.

I apologise I thought the General was based off sonar range from the outpost he was on.

All I meant was if you have a General and you send your elder on her own does his ability -10 driller apply for her.

Thanks for clearing that up about the General and her! :D
