  • You know when you have those amazing attacks with your forces that completely troll your opponent? Well now you can share them with everybody here! :)

For example, my opponent sent 68 drillers and a saboteur at one of my mines which had 39 drillers, a double agent, and a pirate. I sent the double agent at him and expected for the normal thing to happen: the double agent becomes his (goes to his outpost) and the saboteur mine (goes to my outpost), and his 68 drillers are destroyed. However, I found that both the saboteur and the double agent come back to my own outpost (probably due to his saboteur changing the direction of my sub), although just a prisoner at my outpost.

About 15 minutes later I attempted to deploy more of my drillers to his now-empty outpost to take over it. To my surprise, when the drillers and 'the saboteur and the double agent' met each other, the double agent switched sides once again and was mine again!

To make long things short, at the cost of just 1 driller, I destroyed his 68 drillers and also took control of his saboteur!!

I'm sure you'll all have your own exciting stories... Happy sharing!! :D

P.S. I'm not really sure that I understand how the mechanics worked but I think it worked like I described it.

  • I don't have many moments because I'm new to this game but I did like the way I won my first match. So I was playing a 4 person casual match and I formed a triumvirate with two other people and we planned to triple team the last person (am I evil for this?). So we had the last person down to only two outposts and boxed in. One of the outposts which had 107 drillers, his queen, a smuggler, and a thief of his was only about 12 hours away from one of mine which had 30 drillers and an assassin. So he sent his full force at that outpost towards mine so I evacuated my outpost and sent my assassin towards him which killed his queen and eliminated him from the game. And then there were my two allies and me. One of my allies and I were planning to betray our other ally but he was eliminated due to inactivity. My real ally sent his queen, princess, and a few drillers to capture one of my inactive ally's factory. Before he was eliminated my enemy cleverly gifted that factory resulting in our inactive ally capturing my active ally's queen and me winning the game.

We were chasing down blue, I was too far from Kramer to get a sub there without blue being able to move the queen away. So I chose to go for the mine instead and try to scare blue away, into the south west. (Apparently so did orange at the same time, since he was in the lead and I was fine with second place, I gifter him the subs).

Also, based on the 54 drillers blue sent from Ran to Tamir, we were assuming he'd want to have Tamir as his final hide out for the queen. So using the smuggler, I quickly moved my queen and pirate to Stella. The pirate for an attack on the queen-sub we were expecting, and the queen because my next hire would include a hypnotist. There were three captured specialists at Stella and I just wanted to claim them.

That specialist takeover worked out, and also blue sent his queen over to Tamir as expected. I sent out my sub with a pirate and a thief, and only 18 drillers. I wanted to also take Kai-Chai, and assumed the 18 drillers would be enough.

I knew you can't hire specialists while the queen is traveling, but I assumed you also couldn't promote specialists. But as soon as blue's Lieutenant arrived at Tamir, it turned into blue's second general, so apparently I was wrong. I was surprised by this, and the fight resulted as follows:
My thief converted 15% of his 6 drillers to my side, which added 1 driller to my 18.
He now had 2 generals, which both drained 10 drillers from my attack force. So my drillers were all eliminated, and his remaining 5 (after the thief) were unharmed. They even took control of my pirate and thief!

But then another plot twist appeared: my pirate and thief were sent to Kai-Chai, blue's nearest outpost at that time. Luckily, that was the outpost I had sent a lot of drillers to, so long before my specialists were delivered to blue, I took over that outpost and my specialists were safely returned to me.

In the meantime, orange had sent a large sub to Tamir as well, and it's predicted to kill blue's queen on arrival.

If I would have simply sent more drillers on my pirate sub instead of attacking Kai-Chai, I would have taken the queen myself and stuff would have been a bit less complex. But right now there was so much happening, that I wanted to show it, despite my clumsiness. I'll learn from it.

  • I once won by less than two minuets.

My opponent sent enough drillers to take my mine but i won the game with like 2 minuets to spare before he took it.

    crazy right?

  • I was playing a game with the most perfect specalist lineup 2 kings, 1 inspector, and 1 sentry. They ended up taking all of my bases but because I had 500 troops at the base it was impossible to take so they killed each other off and I ended up getting second.

  • Mine is not so glorious. Soon after the start I was attacked on 3 fronts and lost my territory in 2 days. I was still able to build a "Noe's Sub" for my Queen protected by 67 Palace guards. The Chief Navigator, accompanied by my most trusted Helmsman headed the sub into enemy waters.

As the sub had no sonar per se, I directed the sub blindfoldedly to one of my opponent's generators and overtook the outpost and then an undefended factory.

I was able to survive until today due to an early resigning and some gift-based diplomacy.

Today, 6 hours before the endgame, I even produced my first kilo of Neptunium.

I rank 5th, but survived till the end.

  • The fact that you survived after all what happened, is admirable. Good job on keeping your queen alive!

  • My story just was locked in 10 minutes ago. My opponent bravestar had been a pest all of the game. He had launched many subs twards me that I had been bogged down to repel. I just ended his reign over my territory. He had a sentry, a infiltrator and am assassin. He was moving these to an outpost he would soon take. I launched a sub with an assasin and 12 drillers and I will take the outpost seconds before his specialists arive. I will kill all his specialists, take the outpost, and leave him defenseless. He could send more troops and avoid this if he realizes his fate. NOT! Because a half an hour behind my assasin is a martyr. If my sub with the assasin fails to take the outpost then my martyr will arive and blow up all his drillers, his specialists, and the outpost. I win this conflict no matter what. I might have an update on how this happens because technically the action hasn't happened yet but there is nothing he can do to stop it. This will certainly be my best tactical decision of my very first game. It is certainly one for the record books.
