It would be really nice to be able to save or download (to your "photos") a copy of the current map, with all of the existing players, owners, drillers, etc. including a legend with a scale showing time (so you can use a ruler to figure out how long between each outpost).

I would suggest this be a nice way to examine the overall map (with your outposts at centre) at large scale and so be able to refine your strategy or whatever else might take your fancy. Sure, it'd be out of date quickly, but it would be cool.

Another L2 upgrade maybe?

Nice idea. Being a new player I do still occasionally get into a muddle with a "spherical" map. Something in sure I'll get used to in time, and is much easier to see on my iPad, but a flat map would be cool.
