What the heck.

I just accidentally killed myself while sending a queen to a forward post for combat. Even though i recapped the base two hours after capture.

However I had TWO captured queens in backup.

Having to use a Hypnotist to actually use a queen 72 hours across the board is a useless mechanic. There needs to be a queen grace period for intentional recapture guys.

There's no do-over for checkmate either.

Believe me, I can't tell you how many times I've wished I could retake my queen after elimination (once on camera, too)
It's a key part of the game, though. Otherwise, this is just a more complicated Risk.

I did notice this in my current game. Someone sacked this other guy's queen, but the guy who's queen got sacked had more subs coming to that base. It eventually took it back over but he was still eliminated. Now the other guy sent a hypnotists there and actually took over his queen giving him a princess... Kinda lame.

I'd be okay with a hypnotist speed boost. It seems to take forever.

I'd say the lame part was when somebody sent (or kept) their Queen on a suicide mission even though they know that if their Queen gets captured they lose the game. He could have always sent his Queen elsewhere to avoid capture. Well played by his opposition on using the tools at his disposal to eliminate an opponent and take advantage of available specialists.

Getting bonus specialists is a huge boost to your overall strength. It can't be made too easy. These things require planning and execution.
