There are some events which I'd like to be able to generate a reminder to, say, check the status of the game. For example, I don't want to automatically schedule a mine to be drilled when sufficient drillers arrive, but I'd like to be alerted the moment they do arrive so I can see the lay of the land (situation of the seas maybe) and make a decision then.
I guess what I'm saying is that on time machine, it would be good to have a button for 'schedule push notification'. I know I could set an alarm out of the game, but I just thought I'd mention it.

Since the base alerts were taken away, this would be a nice feature.

hm, putting that in the time machine makes total sense, neat idea. i'll add it to our list of things to discuss. thanks for the suggestion!
