Strategy, feedback, or anything SUBTERFUGE-related

  • Hi guys

    After playing a number of games now I must say that you guys really have done a fantastic job. The game really is great. It is so well balanced and offer so much fun with just the right amount of strategy and seriousness.

    My only suggestions are to do with the sub launch and time warp windows.

    With the sub launch window, I have often thought how handy it would be to have some selection buttons just below the wheel that would allow you to add "All", "half" or "None" of the subs currently held at that outpost, or something to that effect. I think it may just streamline the process a little.

    Similarly with the timewarp window, having some buttons to allow to jump ahead or back 1 hour say would also be quite helpful.

    Of course, these would need to fit in aesthetically with the image you guys have of the end product but it really is the only thing I have thought of that would improve the game.

    I did however have a crazy thought for a specialist last night. I doubt it would work balance wise but just as I was about to take someone's Queen I was thinking how awesome it would be to have a specialist that allowed you to capture or 'turn' a certain percentage of that players outposts and subs when their Queen was captured. We could call him the 'Negotiator' or something like that. Like I said, I don't know how well it would work balance wise but perhaps a counter specialist or something that would prevent it from happening. Maybe even extend the Diplomats abilities to cover this? Crazy I know :twisted:

    Anyway, just some of my thoughts.
