So, how many can actually play a decent game with only a few minutes of attention here and there?

I can easily sink in 1-2 hours a day, chatting, plotting moves, and staring at the map...

The map is quite intriguing...

I log in several times per day, but only once or twice for a out 15 mins. Thinking strategy and planning. Every other time it's for a few seconds, simply to check notifications.

I want to tell myself I don't play it *that* much, but the honest truth is that I check Subterfuge every time I'm not doing anything else. Probably a couple hours worth per day, but I can't honestly guess, since it's in such small installments

For a while during the beta there was a stat in the app that told you how long you had played for over the last 24 hours. I saw it go above 4 hours way too many times...

I'd like that stat to return then! I'm sure I have those days as well...

If you are on iPhone the battery settings will tell you how much time your apps spent on the screen over the past 24h or 7 days.
