[Feature Request] Time scrubbing modifications

Time scrubbing is an extremely important ability in the game, however it has two significant shortfalls.

1. You can't scrub forward and view the intelligence screen. Sometimes I want to know how much neptunium per hour I will be earning in 10 hours time, or how much player 2 will lose per hour when I capture his outpost.

2. If a sub is launched and I can see it, then proceeds out of sonar range, it would be great to have a 'ghost' of that sub remain on screen until it either arrives at its destination or comes into sonar range again.

I understand things like sub to sub combat or certain specialists can affect subs before arrival, but the ghost would only react to Intel that you know, rather than the system just 'forgetting' about the sub because it is off sonar.

I think the intel screen time machine wasn't implemented simply because of the size and positioning.
The time machine and the intel screen are both accessed from the bottom, so the intel screen would have turn scrollable and be chosen from the top of the screen (a big UI change).
I understand that concern (I too wanted to see if an ally could beat an opponent at Neptunium drilling), but that option is limited for any phone user because of the size. Perhaps there could be an option to toggle such a view for tablet users?

I don't see why. The intel button is still visible when you use the time machine. The only change that has to be made would be that the time doesn't get reset when you change the tab. In addition they could simply add a scrollwheel to the intel screen.

Great ideas here. There was a post about adding the time machine to the intelligence panel, i hope this one will encourage devs to do it. The "ghost" idea is also a really good proposition

in the meantime I made an excel sheet to figure that out it helps a lot to know if you take an outpost how much time is slowed when its a close game. it isnt hard just time consuming but not 100% accurate because i dont know when they add the nept to the totals

I would love to see the implementation of both of these just as a way of quality improvement. And there have actually been times where I've gotten out pen and paper to do some simple algebra that will let me know the projected neptunium of each player. :D

I believe the devs said they were going to add intel screen graphs soon in their latest blog post.
