Father/Daughter Same Household MULTIBOXING?

Strategy, feedback, or anything SUBTERFUGE-related

  • ok i am in a game with two individuals. one of them admitted to me she is the daughter of another player. and by her grammar and sentence structure she is rather young. they login at the same time even in the middle of the night. they plan attacks within 1-2 minutes of each other in succession so dad goes first then daughter follows within a minute. they even expanded to be next to each other.

is this considered multiboxing. he is clearly playing both accounts to have an unfair advantage. both of them attack in the same way etc. i have an entire list of similarities that show they act as one. its two accounts working as one.

now im not salty im about to pull off a * combo and crush him then his daughter. i alraedy repelled 300 of his and his daughters troops and not lost any ground. he is very newb. so im not posting this to get the game ended quite frankly i want to crush him and his daughter to show how pathetic he is needing two accounts and still cant win

  • If two persons play together it is no multiboxing.

I can not tell if the "father" it playing bouth accounts so I can not comment on that.

What you can do is simply tell the devs and let them decide weather or not it is one person who plays the game.

The online time or schedules might not be evidence enough. ^^

  • well it is against the rules to go into a game with a predetermined ally

    "CODE OF CONDUCT

NO JERKS: Harassment, hate speech, abusive language, and any other unsporting behavior is not allowed.
NO MULTI-BOXING: Players are allowed to have multiple accounts, but may not play in the same game with more than one of them.
NO MULTI-GAME DEALS: Agreements with other players may not span more than one game."

this would be considered a multigame deal because they joined the game prior with intention of working together even expanding together.

I disagree on this point in so far that you can not say if they do this constantly or not...also you do not know if that was the plan or not.

Am I not allowed to play a game with my friends? Of course I will ally with him over someone else but in the end we fight for first place...

I also ally with Players I have played with before rather then with players I see for the first time.

In general I disagree whit the rule completly since it gives you no advantage if you play together with your friend over playing together with a random ally other than maybe you can communicate better.

I do agree that there should be a limit to this but it should be determent by the case.

Note that I DO DISAGREE with sitting in a dark corner with a flare and knifeing each other until someone gets the nuke and wins. But this has nothing to do with pre determined alliances.

  • well The admins can lookup game history and see they join the same games consistenly and ally every game. im not salty. they are very poor players that even with two accounts havent taken an outpost from me but when he started bragging about how cunning he was. is when i got annoyed because cheating isnt being cunning

  • I am not saying that you are. :)
And I am not trying to defend them/him.

I just want to state what I think about it.

As I said simply report it and let them decide.

  • I've run into similar issues with two players admitting to me that they are friends in real life and had planned to ally from the start.

I don't think this is a violation of anything. I actually really enjoyed trying to get one of them to backstab the other.

  • the difference ben is that this is same household and its clear the father is accesing the daughters account. the attacks are within 60 seconds and in succession there is no way you would randomly get that and by successing i mean player1 attack a player1 attack b player1 attack c player2 attack a etc all within a minute of each and in that order. as if he was on one phone then another. no way randomly would do that

  • I mean, the dad wants to play a strategy game with his kid. If I had a kid old enough I'd want to do the exact same thing. I think we should take subterfuge a little less seriously.

Way to go, you crushed them..
