I spent 20 Np to get the extra hire and bought an Intelligence Officer. No radar increase and I'm still unable to see outpost types beyond my radar.

Actually I may be mistaken. I noticed that the background pictures in the outposts are changing so maybe the perk is working. Should the title still read outpost though? Like when I click on a Mine outside radar it clearly says Mine in the title, but everything else just says Outpost.

Okay, it just updated. I'm too impatient in trying to rule the universe. FYI, the background picture thing I mentioned above seems to be a bug that reveals the type of outposts. That or the intelligence officer only has one perk.

hey zod, when you hire a specialist, they hire isn't final for another 10 minutes. during these 10 minutes you can still cancel the hire. because of that, we don't give you the specialist's abilities until it's final. don't want you hiring the intelligence officer, seeing everything, and then canceling.

if you want to get the specialist's abilities right away, you can tap the "finalize" button in the specialists panel.

nice catch with the outpost portraits in the info panel, we'll fix that.
