The game has only been going on for 14 days, only 12 of which were playable. You can do math to figure out how many hires we have, and we only had a few thousand drillers all together. We couldn't go in and kill any specialist anyway since we can't play.

Hi,
I emailed a while ago but have had no reply.
I have 2 problems, one of which is preventing me from playing.
The first is only minor:
Not sure if it's just me, but I bought L2, and notes made on other players never stay. They always vanish after exiting and going back on (and yes, I press save).

The second is major:
For about 3 days now, my game has been completely crashing almost every time I go onto the chat screen and into a chat. When it doesn't crash, it instead just shows the "reply" button, even when I'm connected to the internet (so it's not connection). This (what I think is a) bug is stopping me completely from chatting in game, and the crashing is annoying. I've tried reinstalling.

I have an update to my previous post:

The crashing seems to have just stopped, coincidentally. However, whenever I send a message it duplicates itself, one copy sends after a delay and the other just stays there with the "retry" button next to it until I exit and reopen the game.

I have seen that on occasion too. I think the only way to really fix it is to close the app, "clear" it from your app history, then open it again. However, this doesn't always work. Either way, the little retry circle doesn't ever actually send, it'll just sit there until,you send another message (where it'll do the same thing to the new message)

Sorry I couldn't be of much help, but I think sometimes it's best to just know that other people are having similar problems, even if they can't be fixed. Good luck in the game!

Hi, what do you mean when you say clear app history? I'm on Apple (iPhone 6) if it helps.
I've tried:
- Closing the app, waiting and then relaunching
- Restarting my phone
- Deleting and reinstalling Subterfuge

I've even downloaded it on a different device and I still have the same issue, but from what you're saying I'm not the only one so it's probably not account-related.
Is it likely to be noticed by the developers?

By clear app history, I meant to double click the home button, which brings up the task manager of sorts, where you can swipe up on apps and it'll delete their background refresh. Probably not technical terms, but I think you understand :P

I think it might actually be due to poor wifi/data connection, Blobbydude came up with the hat idea and it fits for my situation too, so no it's not a problem specifically for you.
Also, our good moderator Nojo34 sent an email to the personal email of the debs, and I believe he said they checked it out and made a small fix. Not sure if the fix is 100%, but it should work. See if it's better now, and if not check your internet connection. Good luck with it :D

For everyone reporting this 'Retry' bug:

I emailed The devs about it and Noel responded, and promptly fixed the issue. It was a server side issue.
