I've been avoiding writing is for a while now but it's time.
I have a somewhat common color blindness to reds browns and greens.
Most of the time in the game the outpost colors are just different enough that it's not too confusing (though many are incredibly similar to my eyes).
However, today I find my brown bases next to what looks to me to be a nearly identical brown color. When the time machine is scrubbed into the future, and the future gets hazy, the only way I can tell which is mine is to click on it and see who owns it.
What this means is that I can't initially tell who won a battle. And while I can check, the process takes me out of the game and diminishes the experience a bit.
I've seen other games tackle this using numbers or shapes, neither of which seem appropriate for Subterfuge (and I generally don't like that approach anyway).
My suggestion is to add settings which offer different pallets.
As it is, I just have to take that player out first so they become all my bases.
