Double Queen

  • A bug I haven't come across yet, I am in a game where I had two Queens.

My real Queen was moving between outposts, my opponent's sub took the outpost the Queen left and then chased the Queen down to capture it. My Princess then turned into a Queen for me.

At the same time, I launched a large sub from the outpost the Queen was heading to with a speed specialist and it was able to incept my captured Queen.

My Queen now free, it showed that I had two Queens on the map and when it was at my outpost, it did not give me any range that a Princess would and when I had a hire available - I could click on both Queen's to view the available specialists but hiring a specialist would place it at my Princess-to-Queen outpost.

The Queen that was bugged reverted to a Princess once combat happened at the outpost it was at.

Just a weird bug that I've never heard of or seen before.

  • This bug was mentioned once before, except that the second bug Queen was still a Queen at the second outpost, and the player could choose hires from both Queens.
I believe this happens because the game doesn't have a cross-referencing system which checks to see if you have two Queens at any given moment, so since re-capturing a specialist puts it back to their former state, and you haven't been eliminated, the game allows you to have two Queens, until it realizes you have a discrepancy next time you had combat.
