Bug in anonymous game

So I just joined an anonymous game and I was talking to the people in there. I had to do something for a second so I closed the app.

Then when I reopened it and tried to go to the map it says that "in anonymous games the map is now shown until the game begins." I think I know what it means, but I don't think it makes sense. Also if the map can't be shown then how come I am getting notifications from people in game sending messages?

It's a bug, yes. The creator can't see the map, but when you join it will show you the map. Once you leave, you can't get back in. You're technically not supposed to see it early, but it has been happening since anon mode came out
