I emailed them about the issue but have yet to get a response. I'll let you guys know if I here back but I encourage you all to email them as well.

This is to confirm that, as of this morning, 2/13/17, it appears that this issue HAS NOT been resolved for me. Since the game only works for me on wifi and not on cellular data, I have not been checking regularly. When I read on this thread that the issue was resolved for someone, I checked and it IS NOT resolved for me.

I did email the devs directly using the in-game email function.

Update on this...The issue appears to have been RESOLVED for me. Not exactly sure what happened, but I got an email directly from Ron asking if it had been resolved, so I am guessing he did something to fix it. I will keep testing over the next day or two and post an update here.

Final post for me on this thread...I was playing on cellular data all day yesterday, and it was working great! Hope this issue is resolved for everyone else and that it stays resolved!

Hi, has anyone managed to find a solution to this bug? I am using an S6 and also am currently experiencing the same issue.

I'm having the same problem. I can't play via cellular network anymore and I'm getting a notification that push notifications are turned off. I've double checked to make sure that cellular data and push alerts are on, but I'm still having the issue. I just updated to iOS 10.3
I wonder if that is what is causing the issue.

Has anyone heard from the devs yet? I've emailed them a few times and not received any communication back from them. I still can't log on to the game unless I'm in wifi. Anyone have a fix for this?
