I can currently see a pirate (owned by another player) targeting a sub that's off my sonar. Weird stuff happens when I scroll forward in the time machine: the pirate immediately turns around, since it has no target.

I'm not entirely sure what should happen in this case. Obviously you can't show me what's on the targeted sub when I scroll forward. But I know it's there, and I even know its speed factor since I can see the interception point.

So, yeah. Weird interaction. Dunno what the "right" display should be, but this doesn't quite feel like it.

i know what you mean. it does, however, follow our time machine rule of "based on what you know right now". right now the pirate is chasing a sub and you know it's speed and heading in the moment. but in 10 minutes it might be destroyed by a martyr or another sub, etc. because you don't know if it will exist in the future, the pirate assumes it has no target and heads back home.
