Game not loading

The game doesn't seem to be loading for me. It gets stuck on the initial spinner, and I can't even get to the main menu.

Did you update by hand to the latest version already? You should have gotten an email about it.

Yup that worked. Usually the app lets me know about updates. I'll check my spam folder for the email, but afaik I didn't get one.

Game was working fine untill I joined a game today and now the app (playing on Android) does not load. Galaxy Note 2 running 4.4.2.
