I sent a pirate at an enemy sub, he sent a pirate at my pirate, we both became friends and changed our pirates to gifts and now they've met up and gone mental!

Not sure how it is supposed to play out, but I'm pretty sure it's bugging out at least a little. They end up stretching a line around the world and then one of them does a U turn in empty waters at one point.

My opponent somehow ends up with both of the pirates, which might be what is intended, but I can't tell at this point!

Hmm... good one. You definitely found something we hadn't considered. Normally gift subs ignore each other and keep going, but the Pirates are actually targeting each other. They may do a dance around the world and never come back!

The expected behavior would be for them to meet, decide there's nothing to do, have a drink together, and turn around.

I'll see if I can fix it in time for your game.

They all end up back at my "friend's" base :\

OK, the good news is that this is fixed.

The bad news is that this won't be fixed in your game. So test how friendly your new friend is and see if he can gift you the Pirate back
