i just received a notification that a new specialist is available for hire, but the log shows that event was 2 and a half hours ago.

I also received a notification at that time.

Thanks for the report. You're right, I've gotten a few duplicate notifications as well (although don't think I've seen them as far apart as that). Push notifications is another area that's going to get a nice re-write soon, which should fix all of those problems and make them much more reliable.

This is still an issue.
