Can't cancel advance order

  • I set up some advance orders in time machine and now I can't cancel them. The 'x' button in the time machine box is not responsive. If I move forward in time to the launch point and then click on the red 'Canvel launch' button the sub disappears temporarily and then immediately reappears.

  • The only time I have ever come across this is when I didn't have connectivity when trying to do something.

  • If you know that your connection isn't the problem, you may want to submit this post as a bug report.

  • I'm having the same problem right now. Might cost me the current game :(

    Edit:
I can change the amount of drillers, but I can't cancel the order. Weird.

  • Yep, getting same issue. Is it happening in both full and non-paid version?

    I'm currently non-paid.

  • It is the same in the paid version.

I have found a kind of workaround. You need to have the game open as you reach the actual time the launch is due, with the sub selected. As the countdown reaches 1 second to launch, hit cancel. It flashed on again as about to launch. Hit cancel again and the launch aborts.

Something else I noticed is I couldn't set the drillers to 0. Sub was going from a factory and had 60 drillers. Wouldn't let me go below 1 on the sub.

    (Fantastic game, btw.)

This is actually by design, to prevent you from sending an empty sub on accident.

    1) You load up a sub by sending either 1 or more drillers, or 1 or more specialists.
    2) If you remove the drillers and you have no specialists onboard, the game should keep 1 driller there.
    3) If you want to cancel the sub completely, tap the Cancel button on the sub popup when it's about to launch, or tap the X button in the time machine list.

  • Just to add precedence to this bug, this bug just cost me a game.... Ughhhh so annoying, I had everything planned and now I've had to give up... I am in love with this game, annoyed at the bugs but completely understand you're working through them. If this one could be a priority please!!!! :D :D

Thanks! Although I can't cancel the sub, setting it to 1 will be good enough for my purposes.
