Huge Battery drain on iphone!

  • Hey guys, I love the game.

I am wondering if anyone else is experiencing a huge battery drain from the game? When playing my battery is depleted very fast, makes it impossible to go through the day on and off playing the game without charging.

Today I was playing normally, went to check the battery status for last 24h on the settings, and it shows that Subterfuge consumed 94% of my battery! This thing simply DEVOURS my battery life.

Something is wrong. Is it possible to optimize this or fix it??

By the way, I am playing on latest iOS update, on an iPhone 6.

Edited to add: My phone also gets VERY hot while playing the game, I assume it's the battery that's heating up and is related to this issue? It gets very hot from playing the game.

  • Will we have to give up any functionalities during low power mode? What is the difference??

Also out of curiosity what is causing the drain?

  • power saving mode will run the game at 30fps instead of 60.

  • Out of curisority did you guys run some battery tests with 30 vs 60 fps? since subterfuge is not an action shooter could you test even lower fps for even further reduced battery usage?

From my anecdotal experience, it does reduce battery consumption. But if it were to be lower than 30 fps it would be anything but usable IMO.
