Might aswell just contribute a few rule ideas:
1. players may only have 3 shields up at a time (might not impact the game too much, but I always thought that kinda thing could be interesting)
2. players must always hire the worst specialists available (requires a reverse tier list though)
3. A domination game where every player gets a random target assigned to hunt down. If that player is eliminated, they win.
4. If a player wishes to launch a sub from an outpost, at the same time he has to launch a second sub containing the same number of drillers from that outpost.
